All Woman trifft threads

All Woman meets threads

A few days before New Years Eve I thought a simple navy top to wear with my lace skirt would be nice. That I came up with that idea might have something to do with the fact that I had never found the time to range the remnant of these pyjama pants. So it was still around and kind of looking at me.

I wanted something simple, but still a bit more than a plain shirt. So I thought I could finally use the Vogue pattern that I had succesfully tested in  2010. Should have known, there was not enough fabric left. :-/

So I took my TNT shirt pattern which originally came from one of the first issue of “All Woman”  plus my threads issue 169 from november 2013. Which contains instructions how to quickly create neckline pleats. I had just enough fabric for that.

The picture above has been heavily treated so you can at least see something (clicking on the pic brings a bigger version). The real colors are more like on the picture here.

So after two days I had a new top, using up some remnant fabric that only was “created” in 2013 and I have a top that goes with a skirt I only made in 2013 also. Hard to believe, isn’t it?

In Neon vielleicht? Oder besser doch nicht?

Skirt and top are quite lightweight and do not take up much room, so I am sure they will become important traveling items for me. I am even considering if a small belt around the waist would make it nicer? Some neon color maybe? Or better not?
