Und was ich mitgebracht habe…

And what I did bring back…

Karten

China, Tokio,… oh no, I wasn’t that far.

Paris is far enough for such exotic views, too. *gg*

And those postcards from the shop of the Musee des Arts Decoratifs had to jump into my bag.

But I did not only buy those cards, the shop has also an interesting department of books about fashion and pattern making. And there this grading manual waited for me. It’s cheaper than a pattern making book and often its enough, to be able, to grade a beautiful pattern to the right size.

As far as fabrics are concerned I was very reasonable. I only got a black cotton interlock. My black shirts still are more dark gray (somehow they don’t get better…) so this will be usefull. And then there was that finde, black woolen single jersey. A quality hard to find in Germany and usually very expensive.

So strolling on Montmartre through Sacrés Coupons did pay. But the fabrics will be more for next autumn and winter,

  1. Die Karten sind ja total süüüüß! 🙂
