Nach dem freitäglichen Vorspiel haben wir heute (also Samstag…) gewaltig die Puppen tanzen lassen!

Adam zeigte uns, wie man einen Schnitt an einer Puppe drapiert.

After the furious start on Friday we went on today (that is Saturday..).

Adam demonstrated us, how to drape a pattern on a dress form.

Und das Publikum war mehr als aufmerksam. Hingerissen könnte man beinahe sagen. 😉

And the public was highly attentive, if not carried away. 😉

Mehr eigene Aktivität war bei Benedictas Kurs angesagt.

Hier wurde viel Folie gewickelt und geklebt und dann flach geschnitten.

Eine ganz andere Vorgehensweise, die aber auch einen passenden Schnitt ergibt.

More acitvity was needed at Benedictas workshop.

Here they wrapped in plastic foil and sticky tape, then cut until laying flat.

A totally different way that also leads to a fitting pattern.

Doch nicht nur auf der Empore waren Workshops fleißig, die ganze Halle brummte vor Aktivität. Es sind bei weitem nicht alle im Bild, aber überall passierte alles gleichzeitig.

Nähen, Filzen, Stricken, Büchergucken,… es war nicht das Treffen mit den meisten Teilnehmern, glaube ich, aber das aktivste seit langem!

Not only an the gallery upstairs people were working, also in the main hall everything was full of all kind of activities. The pic is far from showing everyone or everything, but everything happend simultaneously.

People were sewing, felting, knitting, reading books,… it was not the Con with the biggest number of people, but a the most active on for a long time!

Anne betätigte ebenfalls eine Nadel, diesmal eine gebogene…

(Und das Bild zeigt klar: gleiche Augen, gleiche Frisur, muß Annes Tochter Sohn sein. *g*)

Anne herself was using a needle, too. A hooked one, this time, teaching crocheting.

(And the picture shows clearly: Same eyes, same hair, must be Annes daughter son. *g*)

Abschließend noch ein Schnappschuß vom Abendessen.

Das Bier mußte allerdings trotzdem bezahlt werden, wer kann’s erklären?

(Alle die dabei waren sind vom Raten ausgeschlossen…)

Last but not least a snapshot from the dinner. (“Frei bier” normally means “free beer”) Still it had to be payed. Who can guess why?
