The break coat

Dieser Mantel besteht wirklich nur aus Pausen… endlich habe ich das Material zusammen und auch installiert (um mich wieder dran zu erinnern, daß in der Konfektion normalerweise Kunststoffschnallen verwendet werden, weil Metall eigentlich zu schwer ist….) gibt es die nächste Zwangspause.

On this coat there is more breaks than sewing time. Now I finally had the material needed and I also used it (which reminded me that on store bought coats the buckles are made of plastic because metal is a little to heavy…) I was again stoped.

Denn um eine geeignete Höhe für den Gürtel zu bestimmen brauche ich die Augen von Frau mhs in meinem Rücken und die werde ich diese Woche leider nicht treffen können.

Next step is to determine the right position for the belt and that requires the eyes of Frau mhs in my back. A meeting isn’t possible this weeks, so another week waiting.

Dafür habe ich wieder eine Runde Bodenturnen eingelegt und endlich einen Kleidschnitt von Vogue kopiert, den ich ebenfalls seit ungefähr zwei Jahren nähen will. Auf den Stoff paßt der Schnitt auch, also steht morgen eine Runde Stoff waschen auf dem Programm…

On the other side I managed to copy a dress pattern I am wanting to sew for about two years now. The pattern will fit the fabric, so tomorrows task will be washing the fabric.
