Seems to be about time…

Die Galeries Lafayette in Paris haben ihren Weihnachtsbaum schon aufgestellt. Oder besser aufgehängt… Baum ist es auch keiner. Aber immerhin mit Grün als Grundfarbe und viel Neon.

The christmas tree at the Galeries Lafayette is up. Well, strictly spoken it is not a tree, but at least this year green is the basic color. The rest is very flashy.

Die Außenbeleuchtung hing noch nicht, in den Fenstern treiben dieses Jahr bunte Phantasiemonster ihr Unwesen. So weit ganz nett. Nebenan bei Printemps sind wieder zwei Kinder auf der Suche nach dem Weihnachtsmann. Ich glaube… das waren die letztes Jahr auch schon. Auch da nur einige Fenster sehenswert, im Großen und Ganzen aber auch eher uninspiriert. Im BHV ist wohl Mary Poppins das Thema, da habe ich aber noch nicht geguckt.

The lights on the fassade are not up yet, in the shopwindows they have colorful phantastic monsters playing around. Somewhat nice. Printemps next door has two children searching for Santa Claus. I think… that’s what they had last year also? Some windows are worth watching, but as a whole… not very inspiring. BHV seems the have the topic of Mary Poppins. But I haven’t checked yet.
