Overview over the blog articles I should write… but probably will not have the time before the “Museumsnähen” in Stolberg.

…für die ich aber vermutlich vor dem Museumsnähen in Stolberg keine Zeit haben werde.

Warum? Tja.. zum einen bin ich mal wieder eine gute Woche mehr oder weniger auf Achse und habe somit keine Zeit zum Nähen und auch eher keinen Internetzugang.

Und danach bleiben mir noch gerade vier Tage für die Baumarktchallenge. Denn weiter als bis zum Einkaufen des Materials bin ich nach wie vor nicht gekommen.

(Bißchen Geld verdienen muß ich natürlich auch…)

Why? Well.. first reason is that for the next ten days I’ll be traveling around quite a lot. So I won’t have time and possibility to sew and also will not come very close to an internet connection.

After that I have precisely four days left for the “Baumarkt-Challenge” (Hardwearstore-Challenge). Because I still haven’t done more than buying what I intend to use.

(Not to talk about earning a bit of money from time to time….)

Aber danach sollte ich wieder loslegen können.

Einmal werde ich natürlich über mein Teil für diesen Monat berichten. Ja, es ist fertig, nur Bild gibt es noch keines. Da das Thema ja “Strickstoff und Verarbeitung” war, werde ich ein bißchen ausführlicher zeigen, wie ich das mache. Ohne Overlock. (Ich weiß, daß das viele Angst davor haben, aber das ist völlig unnötig.)

Dann habe ich doch glatt meine Geschenke für das Pay It Forward fast fertig. (Bis auf die Nachbearbeitung, die man ja immer am längsten vor sich her schiebt.) Tja.. ich habe zwar nix drüber erzählt, aber dran gearbeitet.

Meine eifrige Reisetätigkeit brachte es mit sich, daß ich viel Zeit zum Stricken habe. Ich habe alle meine Sockenwolle aufgebraucht (Noch ca 40g gemischte Reste sind übrig), die meisten aber noch nicht gezeigt und die letzten drei Paare liege noch unphotographiert hier herum. Sollte ich mal machen, denn jetzt wo es wieder kälter wird, würde ich sie doch gerne auch anziehen…

Und ich stricke gerade an einer Maschenprobe für mein neues Projekt. Die Anleitung ist schon aus dem Buch kopiert, denn es ist zu groß und zu schön um es ständig mit herumzutragen.

Noch was? Ach ja, Papier… die Ottobre Woman und die Burda vom Oktober liegen hier.

Ich sehe schon… nach Stolberg werde ich zwei Monate nur schreiben, um nachzukommen. *g*

I’ll write about this months sew along. And as the theme is “knit and how to work with them” I’ll write a bit more detailed how I’ve constructed my shirt. Without a serger. (I know that many people are afraid of knits because they have no serger, but there is no reason for that.)

I also nearly finished my Pay it forward gifts. I know I never wrote about it again, but yes, I did it. Except for those last finishing touches, I usually tend to push into the future…

As I was travelling a lot (including a lot of trains) I’ve been knitting a lot. I’ve used all (yes, no hidden ball of yarn somewhere) my sockwool (40g mixed restovers don’t count). So I’ll have to show some socks. And take pictures of the last three pairs. (Especially as I’d like to wear them, autumn is definitely here…)

I already started swatching for my next brand new project. and I’ve copied the instructions from the book. Knitting books can be so beautiful, but they are to big and do heavy to carry them around. Also I don’t like to damage it.

After the Stolberg event I shouldn’t do anything but blogging until Christmas or so… 😮
