Endlich gibt es mal wieder ein fertiges Werk… schon im September habe ich “Trillian” von Martina Behm angeschlagen, weil ich für einen Fortbildung was zum “nicht denken” brauchte. Da ich das Endergebnis aber nicht wirklich brauche, wurde es zugunsten anderer Projekte immer wieder nach hinten geschoben.

Finally I have a finished object to show… already in September I’ve started “Trillan” by Martina Behm, because I needed something “brainless”. But I do not need the shawl, so it was always set on the backburner for other project.

Aber jetzt ist es fertig. Das Garn war “Jawoll Magic” von Lang Yarns und ich finde, die Streifen entwicklen sich hier ganz nett über das Tuch. Ich habe weniger als die angegebenen 150g verwendet und finde das Tuch schon ganz schön groß… noch kein Umschlagtuch, aber für einen Schal schon umfangreich.

The yarn is “Jawoll Magic” by Lang Yarns and I like how the stripes develop over the shawl(ette). I used less than the 150g the pattern calls for and I think it’s quite big. Not a real shawl yet, but for a shawlette quite large.

Das Garn ist Sockengarn, dafür ist es noch relativ weich, aber ein extremer Halsschmeichler ist es nicht. Für mein Empfinden wäre es am Hals noch okay, aber eigentlich brauche ich das Tuch nicht und es sind auch nicht so wirklich meine Farben. Mal sehen, was draus wird…

The yarn is a sock yarn and taking that into consideration it is relatively soft. But not really soft, of course. For me it would be okay to wear it against the skin, but actually I don’t need it and it’s not really my colors… so let’s see where it ends up.
