Shopping for braid, trim and ribbon in Paris: shindo

Eigentlich ist das ja der Showroom eines Herstellers, aber sie verkaufen explizit auch “en detail”. Und an Bändern und Borten haben sie mehr, als ich mir hätte vorstellen können.

Ein großer, heller Showroom mit hohen Regalen, Rolle an Rolle… Bänder, Borten, Paspeln. Zackenborte in 40 oder so unitönen, Falzgummi in glänzend oder lieber matt? Stricktresse, Satinbänder in allen Farben und Breiten sowieso.

Ausschließlich uni-Bänder füllen den Raum. Und der ist groß.

Aber Borten mit verschiedenen Motiven gibt es auch, es liegen nämlich viele dicke Kataloge herum. Leider weiß ich nicht, ob man die dann bestellen muß, oder ob sie auch vorrätig sind.

This is not a normal shop, it’s the showroom of a producer. But they luckily also do retail. And they have more different trims and braids and whatever than my imagination had dreamt of.

A clear showroom, high, white shelves, spools in any colour: Trim, ribbon, piping, rickrack in like 40 different colours, elastic knitted bindings in shiny or matte… satin ribbons in all colours and different widths… you name it not, they have it anyhow. 😮

The space is filled exclusively with plain coloured items.

But that is not all they have… the woven tapes are in thick sample books. I don’t know whether they have them all in stock, too, but it’s so amazing what they have!
