Fresh Overview in February 2014

Diese Wickelbluse sieht ja auf den ersten Blick fertig aus (und wäre damit für die “laufenden Projekte” nicht mehr qualifiziert), und rein technisch ist sie es auch, nur ist sie so leider nicht tragbar. Zum einen, ist sie etwas zu eng (darüber später mehr), zum anderen öffnet sich der Wickelausschnitt fast bis zum Bauchnabel, wenn ich mich bewege. Ich habe jetzt noch eine Idee, wie ich sie halbwegs tragbar bekommen könnte, ansonsten… braucht jemand eine Wickelbluse in Größe 20, mit einer FBA auf 22?

This wrap top looks quite finished (which would disqualify it for my ongoing projects) and technically it is. The problem is I can’t wear it that way. Once it is quite snug (my fault, will talk about it later), but the bigger problem is, that the front gapes down to the navel… I have one more idea how I might be able to fix it. Otherwise… anybody wants a wrap top in size 20, with FBA to 22…?

Allerdings brauche ich für oben genannte Lösung noch was, was nicht sofort umsetzbar ist. Daher habe ich dann schon mal das nächste Projekt zugeschnitten, ein schlichtes T-Shirt.

Before I can try the mentionned solution I need to organize something. But I already cut my next project, a simple top.

Dann gibt es da ein Strickkleid aus dickem Garn, das ich angefangen habe. Das ruht allerdings seit Mitte Januar, denn da ist eine wichtige Terminsache…

Then I started this knit dress made with bulky yarn. It hibernates since mit of January, because there is something urgent to finish first…

Nämlich die Geburstagsocken für meinen Bruder. Ein männertaugliches Lochmuster. Und ich mußte es mir nicht mal selber ausdenken. (Und ja, der Schaft der fertigen Socke sieht anders aus, Leider habe ich da einen Fehler gemacht, weil mich die Anleitung etwas verwirrt hat. Und da diese Socken anleitungsgemäß von oben nach unten gestrickt wurde, hätte ich sie vollständig wieder auftrennen müssen. Was aus Zeitgründen einfach keine Option ist.

So the urgent project are the birthday socks for my brother. “Lace” pattern for a man and I did not have to make it up. (And yes, the leg part of the finished sock looks different from the second one. I was so confused by another part of the instructions, that I made a mistake. And since I made the socks downward and not toe up – as the instructions state – frogging all is not an option, I wouldn’t finish it in time.

Und natürlich auch ein Blick auf meine Hexagons, die inzwischen auf 313 angewachsen sind. Damit ist noch ein Garn aus.
