Was bei Bildern aus Paris natürlich nicht fehlen darf ist der Eiffelturm.

Diesen durften also meine Socken aus Schewes “Socks’ Wool Lucca” (und Alterfil S150 Nähgarn, in der Hoffnung, die Socken so reißfester zu bekommen) auch sehen und zumindest in Form des Logos war auch die Maschenkunst dabei. 🙂
So my socks from Schewe’s “Socks’ Wool Lucca” (plus Alterfil S150 sewing thread, because I am still trying to make the socks more sturdy for my brother’s special destroying forces) got this view also, together with the Maschenkunst label.
Last of the strange socks
Auch diese sind nicht viel aufregender als die letzten beiden Paare. Nur größer. Und dafür war ich dann sogar recht flott fertig.
These are not more thrilling than the other ones, only bigger. Concerning that I had them finished quite quickly.
Material ist diesmal “sock’s wool” von Schewe in grau zusammen mit einem Rest katia von meinem Coquille Schal. Weil ich mir nicht sicher war, ob ein Knäuel in der Größe auch noch reicht. Hätte es aber.
This time I used “socks’ wool” from Schewe in gray and what was left from the katia sock wool I had used for my Coquille. I wasn’t sure if one skein would be enough for that size. Well, it would have been enough.
Und falls sich einer fragt, was das alles soll…. das dauert noch ein Paar Monate, denn dieses Paar kann erst Ostern getestet werden. Und dann wird sich zeigen, ob das alles so funktioniert, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe….
And if anyone wonders what that is about… that will take some month, because these socks will be “sizetested” on Easter and the I will see, whether that did work the way I wanted…
