Motifs 1, 3 and 4
Nachdem mir engültig nichts nützliches aus den rosa und grauen Resten mehr einfallen wollte, schnappte ich mir wieder das Häkelbuch “Beyond the Square”.
Finally I couldn’t find anything useful to to with the rest of my grey and rosé yarn rests. So I took out the “Beyond the Square” book again.
Bei “Motiv 1” lernte ich das “Popcorn” Muster kennen. Ah ja. Ist ziemlich plastisch.
With “motif 1” I learned the popcorn stitch. Quite thick.
Bei dem schön runden “Motiv 3” muß man schon sehr genau hinsehen, um die dritte Farbe überhaupt zu erkennen. Aber sie ist da.
For the nicely round shape of “motif 3” you have to look very closely to spot the third color. But it’s there.
Was mir bei dem Buch im Übrigen auch auffällt ist, daß die einzelnene Motive keine malerischen Namen haben, sondern einfach durchnumeriert. Das ist im Moment zwar nicht wirklich modern (wenn man sich Anleitungen so ansieht), aber eigentlich recht praktisch.
Ich vermisse die Namen jedenfalls nicht.
I also remarked, that the different pattern do not have any cute names, just numbers. Which seems to be quite out of fashion (if I look at other patterns I see), but I like it.
I don’t miss names at all.
“Motiv 4” ist das letzte, das sollte man wohl spannen oder dämpfen, einfach so ist es doch recht “unrund”…
The last one is “motif 4”. I think one should better block it or at least steam it, the shape does not come out well here…
Danach waren jedenfalls nur noch zwei Farben übrig.
After that I had only two colors left.
Und auch für diese Wollreste hat sich die Scrap Flower Daisy von Kristine Mullen bewährt. 🙂 (Falls ihr allmählich keine Wolle mehr sehen könnt… Sorry, da kommt noch das eine oder andere, aber ich bemühe mich auch um neue Nähbeiträge…)
