Oh, es ist ein… PiF!

It’s a… PiF!

Pay it Forward

🙂 ) Danke, liebe Aud!

It’s quite some time ago that I took Auds offer for a Pay it Forward gift in her Blog.

And now the postman left something very nice. Already the outside was nice.

And even more the inside! I like those potholders. I think they will fit very well into our Paris kitchen. Where I wanted to make some for two years but never found the time.

Perfect! (Even though the bobbin thread run out on the last centimeters and had to be replaced by a similar colour. 😉 ) Thank you, dear Aud!

But this reminds me that I have something to give also that is overdue. They are finished, I just have to find envelopes… But I did already finally pack the first one today.

Pay It Forward

Genäht, gestrickt, gehäkelt oder was ganz anderes…?

It’s about time.. it was still march when I “applied” for a “Pay It Forward” gift in Aud’s Blog. Now I’ll get a gift from here. And I’m obliged (and happy to do so) to pass on gafts from my side.

So what is this?.

Well, making gifts, without becoming another gift back. But the person who gets the gift passes another gift on to other persons.

This means the first three persons who comment on this post will get a gift from me. Crafted by me, of course. What this is doig to be? I have no ide yet. Neither what techniques or materials will be involved. But I will send a gift. Not this week, not next week, but within six months. (Sounds possible…)

And those three people who will recieve a gift promise themselves to pass this on to three other people via their blog. That’s all. You just need a blog and you like making gifts. 😉

Now I’m curious who this three people will be, who want to recive a gift from me. (If there are three people…) Of course I’ll also ship internationally…

And here the original instructions in English for the Pay It forward exchange, that I’ve copied also from Aud’s blog:

“It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based of the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on. So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. I will now Pay It Forward to you THREE, I wonder who you will be?! Please, be a PIF! You will enjoy it just as much as we do! And, remember… you have 6 months to get your gifts done! Come on, you know you would love to be one of my angels. Then, one day, but you don’t know when….you will get a gift that I have made especially for YOU! Please remember, you don’t have to knit or crochet to participate, anyone who can make a nice handmade gift is welcome to join.”
