Urlaub vorbei

(Also will auch keiner Bilder sehen.)

*husthust*

Holiday is over… thanks to technique my blog was not on holiday but I was.

This time it was the usual boring holiday in France so I am sure no one wants to see any pics. I only visited one fabric store (I’ll write about it because this one is worth a visit) where I did not buy anything. But some books ended up in my bag…

The last days of our journey it was Paris and “Mona Lisait” is just around the corner….

The embroidery book I had intended to buy anyhow after my holiday. (I have the wonderfull knitting book of the same author already.) And when the French edition was on sale (50% of the price of the German edition) how could I refuse that offer…

And I still don’t quilt. Only I don’t understand why the collection of books about that topic is costantly growing… :o) But if I ever do quilting the I’d like to use my scraps for it to reduce them. The book is great and explains how to design with what you have instead of buying the “quilting kit of assorted fabrics”. If I ever find the time to quilt……

Oh yes, there was also summer sale in Paris… but I’m sure no one wants to see pics of not self made shoes… :o)

But now I have to hurry again. The topic of the “Motivationsmonat” sew along is “Tops” (meaning in German sleevless ones). But I was more than lucky… “Bermudas” was second place and that would have been more than a challenge because if there is one type of pants tha looks rely awfull on me then it’s Bermudas. But tops sounds more doable. Should be quick to make also.

And quick is the word, then a friend has a cute fresh daughter and I want to sew something for her, too.

Oops.. the month is already one third over… so it will have to be speed sewing again…
