Maschenkunst unterwegs 2IV

Still the “travel tips” on the cable but the view on the Lake Pichola is much better and is worth the travel.

Yarn, of course, still Milk Mohair by Artyarns from Maschenkunst and it is still supposed to become “The Maltese Shawl” from VLT.

Maschenkunst unterwegs 2III

Some hours later there is not much progress (surprising how many mistakes and back knitting such a simple pattern can demand) but the shawl is allowd to rest on one of the well used seats at Delhi domestic airport. (While I was equally trying to get some rest after a night flight and with a waiting time of 11 hours until departure of the next plane ahead.)

(Of course still the same yarn from Artyarns and still the same pattern.)

Maschenkunst unterwegs 2II

Maschenkunst unterwegs went on Great Voyage. For the trip to India I choose a lace project because that offers a lot of knitting with few weight.

The pattern is The Maltese Shawl from VLT and the yarn is again Silk Mohair from Artyarns which is my absolute favorite yarn for “fuzzy” lace. I also purchased some acrylic tips from Maschenkunst hoping they would pass the security. Also they are less expensive than the wooden ones it the security objects. (I had the stoppers for the cable in my cabin luggage and the wooden tips travelled in the checked in luggage.)

But as the pic shows, the knitting needles went into Duesseldorf Airport without any problem.

Anybody remembers the lace shawl after the pattern from “Victorian Lace Today” I’ve been knitting for quite a while? You haven’t forgotten the material is Silk Mohair by Artyarns, purchased at Maschenkunst? 😉

Yes, I’m still knitting and it has been to Paris with me. But here we are in the Thalys train again, some time before heading back to Germany. And the shawl is the wee bit of stitches on the bottom of the pic…

Maschenkunst unterwegs (XII)

The lace shawl from Artyarns’ Silk Mohair (from Maschenkunst) got a bit more border meanwhile, but not much.

But it was allowed to enjoy the sun in Parc de la Villette in Paris. (Which is rare. Not for the parc, but for the sun this year.)

Maschenkunst unterwegs (XI)

This picture probably does not really count because the Logo is not so well visible. But everyone has seen it that often, that you know how it looks. 😉

And I couldn’t resist the view…

This is the last picture from Mallorca, Puig de Randa was the place.

But not the last pic of the blue fluff from Artyarn’s Silk Mohair from Maschenkunst. That will take me some time to finish. 😉

Maschenkunst unterwegs (X)

Mallorca again. A quiet beach around Port d’Alcudia.

*UFF*

That was the place where I detected that I had dropped nearly all stitches from the border pattern from my needle! But this amazing Silk Mohair from Artyarns (purchased at Maschenkunst, you all know by now, but I will stick to the “rules” of the game… 😉 ) kept the shape so well that I could pick them up again without any loss. Not even for the double yarn overs. *UFF*

Maschenkunst unterwegs (IX)

This time my shawl did really travel so the picture was taken in Palma.

I’ve dragged the knitting around but I didn’t knit one stitch. On the plane I would have had the time, but I didn’t want to risk anything so I put it in the checked luggage.

(In case anyone hasn’t noticed yet, it is still the pattern from Victorian Lace Today knitted with Artyarn’s Silk Mohair purchased at Maschenkunst.)

Bitte schöne, ich will Augenfutter. *gg*

(Btw: I think it’s a pity that not more people take part. So… you don’t have to be a customer at Maschenkunst to take part. Downloading the banner, printing it and taking a picture with it is enough. Good pictures, please, I want eye candy. *gg*)

Maschenkunst unterwegs (VIII)

Maschenkunst unterwegsDiesmal durfte mein Stickzeug im ICE reisen.

This time my knitting travelled an ICE train.

Color fits nicely, somehow. 🙂 (Yes, still the lace shawl from Artyarns’ Silk Mohair purchased at Maschenkunst. I like lace projects for travel because the projects have not much weight and compress well. And one project goes a long way and keeps me occupied.)

Maschenkunst unterwegs (VII)

Sorry for all those pics, but I can’t stop taking those… you’ll have to endure them.

This time I was in Belgium, Hainaut region.

Yarn is still Artyarns Mohair Silk purchased at Maschenkunst and I am still knitting the same shawl from Victorian Lace Today. I might finish the middle part soon and start the border.
